Easy Bonding
Colback cabin air filter materials polypropylene skin polymers provide the perfect surface for thermal, glue or point calendar bonding. Colback PP nonwovens are a highly adaptable backing layer, ideal as high-performance support material in a wide range of cabin air particle filters.
PROTECTIVE PRE-FILTER
As a single filter layer, the Colback non-woven filter material is a highly effective pre-filter, protecting high-efficiency filters from coarse dust and water droplets.
It’s also exceptionally easy to cut and shape, and therefore well suited to most production processes.
FLAME RETARDANT
Colback PP nonwoven filter media’s performance at high temperatures and proven flame retardance make it ideally suited to automotive filtration applications.
The nonwoven fabric is tested for dimensional stability up to 80° Celsius, confirming its efficiency as well as safety.
SIMPLE TO PLEAT FOR RIGID RESULTS
Regardless of the pleating method you use, Colback nonwoven fabrics are easy to handle ensuring high pleat stiffness for maximum filtration efficiency.
Additionally, the patented embossing technology enables the creation of deeper pleats with no collapsing, resulting in a much greater effective filter area.
